Tom Worth's 2006 Missionary Trip to Bulgaria

I preached and taught from the Psalms and from the Gospels on this trip.  As I have done in the past, I still emphasize Jesus' care and concern for us as individuals.  I also found that I needed to address our situations as communities of believers.  I note that, as in America, some have given up on the church, even though they feel they have not given up on the Lord.  In many respects the Evangelical / Charismatic church in Bulgaria is quite young and tends to suffer from the same kinds of immaturity and growing pains that we see in the Corinthian church.  Paul's answer for Corinth was Christ and Him crucified.  I tried to emulate Paul in my attempts to glorify and reveal Christ Jesus.  Thanks to your prayers and the help of the Holy Spirit, I believe those attempts were not unfruitful.
